Every year in mid August, Layne Staley Fund celebrates Layne's birthday by putting on it's annual tribute & benefit concert.
If you've attended one of our tributes in the past, you know it's a lot more than a rockin' concert!
We take extra care to ensure that it's an intimate, spiritual experience that transmits our message of hope & love of Layne to
everyone in attendance by having special guests and segments held throughout the evening.
We also hold raffles, a silent auction and our merchandise booth sells the Official Layne Staley Fund Tribute Poster, T-shirt and
Calendar that we design specifically for the event each year. Proceeds from the tribute, merchandise sold, raffles and donations
all go towards funding drug recovery programs.

2007 Tribute a Phenomenal Success!
Many, many thanks go out to Daughtry, Soulbender, Riverbend and our special guests and hosts: Rane Stone, Jonny Smokes, JT Phillips,
Andy Guyer & Damon Stewart for donating their performances at our 6th Annual Layne Staley Tribute & Benefit concert that took
place on August 25, 2007 at the Showbox in Seattle, Washington.
A special thank you to Jerry Cantrell, Sean Kinney & Mike Inez for sending us the great (and silly!) video greeting for the fans
that we played at the Tribute!
We also want to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of you who made 2007 such a fantastic & successful year for us! By spreading the

2006 Tribute Turned into a Rockin' Jam Session!

In 2006, we had the legendary rock guitarist Gary Hoey headline the event. Gary & his band were very generous with their support of
our Tribute and were so open to having special guests jam with them, that almost his entire set turned into a huge jam session! Many
thanks to special guests Scotty Olson, you will remember him as the special guest guitarist from the gorgeous & haunting Mtv Unplugged
Alice in Chains DVD, Rane Stone, Jonny Smokes, George Grissom, Glenn Cannon, Cara Crider, Izzy Gleason, Brooks Shepard & Josh Gibson.
Temperedcast and Surface Tension kicked off the event and donated their performances. We can't thank them enough!
